This was the bridge that carried cars from Broad Weir to the multi-storey car park in Fairfax Street. This access went through the middle of Fairfax House, splitting the shop into two halves, this made finding your way around Fairfax house somewhat difficult. Fairfax was demolished to make way for the Galleries shopping mall, which is about to be demolished as well.
