There were two gantries across Feeder Road, one of which facilitated the unloading of coal barges on the Feeder Canal (left) to supply the electricity site (right), the one furthest away, and one which carried cables from the generating station back towards the centre of Bristol. The offloading gantry has gone, but the cable gantry was still remaining the last time I was in Bristol. The generating station is now a distribution station fed by High Voltage overhead wires.
