I visited the U.S. Virgin Islands in 1998 arriving just before it was struck by hurricane Georges and was there when the hurricane passed over the islands. Although a part of the USA they drive on the left because until 1917 the islands were Danish and at that time the Danes drove on the left, but now the Danes drive on the right, but somehow this place never changed.
